Anti-Mormon protesters at the
October 2004 LDS General Conference
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has attracted critics
from its earliest days. These pictures provide a small glimpse at the efforts of
some critics of the Church. These pictures were taken by Allen Wyatt, October 2-3,
2004, in Salt Lake City, during an LDS General Conference. Protesters positioned
themselves throughout downtown Salt Lake City. Many were congregated near the
entrances to Temple Square, and many on the sidewalks surrounding the Conference
Center. Some even took up positions near Trax (light rail) stations, hoping to
spread their message to those taking public transportation to Conference.
Under each picture you will find some comments by the photographer,
as well as some links that provide additional information that explain the
sensationalistic claims of the protesters.

This group of protestors decided to do their preaching from the
bed of a pickup truck parked near the Conference Center. The
gentleman shouting from the back of the truck was proclaiming
the inerrrancy and completeness of the Bible.

and they should therefore be ignored.
