You Can Support FAIRAs an entirely volunteer organization, the Foundation for Apologetic Information & Research (FAIR) exists at the good pleasure of our members. The downside to that fact, of course, is that we are at the mercy of our members; they must be extremely generous in supporting us. To attempt to keep operating costs at a bare minimum, FAIR has elected to not have a paid staff. Historically, the vast majority of funding has come from FAIR's founders. But we have grown to the point where we can no longer operate efficiently on that basis. At various times throughout the year some of us think it is nothing to spend $25 or even $50 on a gift. Even taking the family out to McDonald's (or, as I call it, the "Golden Arches Supper Club") or going out to dinner once with your spouse can cost that much. So how about giving a gift to advance apologetics in the world? Give a gift to FAIR. Some of the things your gift allows us to do include:
What your money will not do is pay salaries to those working at FAIR. (We do pay a small amount, part-time, for someone to ship orders from our bookstore.) Your money is spent directly to support our cause. We have stiff financial controls in place, we have a committed Board of Directors, and our books are audited regularly. FAIR is a non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, and thus your contributions are 100% tax deductible (for contributors who file United States tax returns). Letters are available upon request. We have a tremendous need to grow and to expand our operations. We need a small staff of researchers to complete various projects now underway, as well as to expand the content of the Web site and handle the publishing of additional books and reprints. We need your help. The following sections list some ways you can assist us in accomplishing our mission. Please be generous, and help us to keep FAIR free to all. Thank you! Scott Gordon You can help FAIR to fulfill its mission by making a generous donation. Each donation level includes special gifts that you receive. Other DonationsOne-time donations are special offerings that are $1000 or less. They are fully tax-deductible and are used to assist with general operating expenses. Typical donations in this category are $25, $50, $100, $250, $500, $750, and $1000, but can be as little as $5 or $10. You can make a one-time donation HERE. Research Grants & GiftsThese are the donations that really allow us to grow and move forward in our work. These are donations of more than $1000 which fund the critical infrastructure of FAIR and the research and publishing efforts that are so critical to our success. To make a research grant or gift to FAIR of over $1000, please e-mail the President of FAIR directly HERE.
