XIV. Observations

Long after The God Makers has been forgotten, along with numerous other works of that type, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will continue to bless lives, help further high morality, grow, and prepare willing people for the Second Coming of Christ.

Although the book and movie are generating some discussion in certain areas at the time of this writing, the net effect appears to be an acceleration in the growth of the LDS Church, including a return of some who had left. However, to ease my conscience, I felt I had to point out the lack of credibility of the book, even if my efforts would only alert the "one." "Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God . ..if it so be that you . . . bring . . . save it be one soul unto me . . . " (D&C 18:10, 15).

I cannot make anyone know the truthfulness of what the world calls Mormonism. Only a personal, prayerful, sincere study will result in a discovery that it really is what it claims to be: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, God's authorized institution on the earth.
