Does the Doctrine of Blood Atonement Turn Brigham Young into a Murderer?

RICHARD ABANES: The doctrine of Blood Atonement which was very big in Utah in the 1800s under Brigham Young taught that our own blood had to be spilled to atone for those sins and what this led to Hank, now that we're starting to get into the doctrines and how it worked itself out in the history of Mormonism, what it led to were multiple murders, dozens and dozens of murders in Utah under Brigham Young.
